Will my insurance cover my visit to Preferred Physicians Group?We accept many major insurance plans for covered services, and we are happy to file the appropriate claims on your behalf when possible. Insurance may not cover the yearly fees for Premier Service Plan II & III, and may not cover the fees associated with per-use access to enhanced services. Some of these enhanced services include: online prescription refill requests, physician e-Consultations, online medical chart viewing, doctor webVisits, and Internet access to lab results. Discuss with your healthcare benefits coordinator the possibility of applying your medical savings account, medical spending account, healthcare savings account, etc. toward professional fees. Presently we do not participate in Medicare, Medicaid, Peach Care or any HMO plans. What are the benefits to purchasing a Premier Service Plan II or III?PSP III offers the ultimate in convenience and access. Services such as online physician webVisits and e-Consultations are included in the package, as well as 24x7 doctor access and all other online services available under PSP II and PSP I. And with extended standard office appointments, you'll never have to worry that all of your issues weren't addressed before leaving your doctor's office. Busy or conscientious people may find that PSP II provides the added flexibility they need through expanded online services including the ability to schedule appointments, request prescription refills and referrals, view their office medical record, and ask questions of their doctor (e-Consultation). Also, PSP II subscribers can take advantage of the convenience of online doctor webVisits on a per-use basis. For all our patients, personalized attention is our standard in family-centered care. What is a physician e-Consultation?Our physician e-Consultations provide an online forum, via a secure connection, where we can chat with you about your medical questions. The e-Consultation is an ideal solution when you have questions about your prescriptions, health fads, nutritional supplements, accurate information regarding medical conditions and other general medical concerns. This enhanced service is included in Premier Service Plans II & III, and available on a per-use basis to all patients. We do not diagnose or treat any condition in an e-Consultation. What is a doctor webVisit?For busy people or those who travel, it's often difficult to even make it in to see their doctor. We provide webVisits as a standard service for Premier Service Plan III and as an option for all other plans. Our personalized approach to medical care allows us to know our patients well enough to handle minor and routine problems in this fashion. However, there are instances in which a webVisit is not the right solution and we will advise you to be seen in the office. What are the benefits of selecting Preferred Physicians Group at the standard, Premier Service Plan I level?First and foremost, we have limited the size of our practice to remain focused on what matters most - treating our patients. All our patients receive comprehensive primary care, access to our practice Web site, online appointment requests, online health news, online billing and appointment inquiries and the ability to maintain a secure online personal and family health record.
